LEARNFIN

Food 4 Thought (Financial Literacy) – This is an initiative towards financial literacy. Every year a group of people are selected for creating an awareness towards various financial services and its benefits. The school children, housemaids were approached for the same.

2025-26

The LearnFin Programme is an initiative focused on spreading financial awareness and imparting basic financial knowledge among underprivileged communities. This year, the awareness programme was conducted for caretakers residing at Shlok Nagar, behind Datta Mandir, Mumbra Colony, Diva East. The visits under the LearnFin Programme were conducted over three days — 14th October 2025, 24th November 2025, and 16th December 2025.

2024-25

As part of the LEARNFIN initiative, BBI and BAF students visited vegetable markets in Thane, Dombivli, Kanjurmarg, and Mulund to understand vendors’ business operations and financial practices. Based on the survey findings, students created awareness about various financial schemes and investment options on 5th March 2025.

2023-24

LEARNFIN is a financial literacy initiative conducted by the Department of Banking and Insurance to spread awareness among auto-rickshaw drivers about insurance, pension schemes, and financial security. Through surveys and interactive sessions, students guided participants on suitable financial plans and highlighted the benefits of the ABHA Card, empowering them to make informed decisions for a secure future.

2022-23

BBI department had organised one seminar for low-income groups on 14th March 2023 under "Learn-Fin" to provide various government schemes details. This session covered schemes such as PMJDY, PMMY, PMSBY, PMJJY, ATAL pension Yojana, and the low-income group people like House maids, housekeeping have been benefited through this program. ln all 15 people took the advantage of this seminar.

2021-22

LearnFin is a financial literacy initiative conducted to promote saving habits and banking awareness among 8th standard students of Lokmanya Tilak High School and Vaze School. FYBBI students engaged participants through interactive skits, quizzes, and games, making financial education simple and engaging. The programme was successfully conducted on 25th March 2022 with enthusiastic participation from 17 FYBBI students.
